This gel feels really good on the skin & absorbs quickly. I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I have not noticed any wrinkle reduction, although I suspect the collagen percentage must be pretty low so it would take 3-6 months before noticing results? Either way it was very inexpensive and the ingredients should be healthy for my skin so I will continue using it and keep my fingers crossed for miraculous wrinkle & stretch mark reduction! Neemaura Naturals Inc, Neem Skin Salve

My sister sometimes gets very chapped lips -- dry, rough, red, extending about 1/2 inch beyond both upper and lower lips. Waxy, petroleum chapstick-type lip balm doesn't touch it; shea butter helps soften it a bit but doesn't make it go away. NeemAura Neem Skin Salve REALLY helps her. We have tried other neem products -- like a neem lip balm -- but they have not worked for her or sting. I think it's a combination of the neem itself counteracting some type of bacteria in her saliva that worsens her chapped lips, plus whatever base the salve has in it. The worst thing about using the neem skin salve on her lips is that it tastes HORRIBLE -- like a very bitter herb. (So maybe part of it is that she doesn't lick her lips and make it worse when it's on!) When it's getting worse, and she finally gets out the tin and puts some on (above and below her lips, to try to avoid the taste), it immediately soothes the dryness and pain, without stinging. It immediately feels better. She and I notice that the redness starts to recede that day, is visibly better by day 2 and 3, and by day 4 or 5, it is gone. Without this product, the redness stays for a week or more, getting worse. We ran out a month ago and the shea butter has not been cutting it, so here I am ordering some more!

Queen Helene Masque, Mint Julep - 8 oz

I've bought all kinds of products looking for something to help my acne prone skin. It's hard to believe this gem was hiding right up the street for literally a fraction of the price I've paid for less effective products. I bought this after reading the reviews here. I knew something good was happening as soon as I put it on. It tingles in a pleasant way and you can actually feel it working. It took about 30 minutes to dry completely. I rinsed it off and my face feels CLEAN. There's no other word to describe it. It really feels like my pores are breathing a sigh of relief. I don't know that my face has ever felt this unclogged. A lot of the gunk in my pores and on the surface of my skin has been sucked up and rinsed off. My skin feels smooth and soft. It is a little dry and tight, but I know my skin will eventually adjust to that and the dryness will lessen after a few uses. It's a little tough to rinse this stuff off because it's thick and clings a bit. I recommend using it before you shower. That'll be the fastest and easiest way to get it off. The smell is also quite strong and minty. Some people will be turned off and/or simply unable to stand it. I started getting a headache after a while from the smell, but it was well worth suffering through. (At least it's not as bad as Mario Badescu drying mask, which smells like tires. I actually had to shove balls of tissue up my nostrils with that one.) All in all, read the reviews and believe them. I hope the effects continue and that it doesn't stop working after a while. We'll see. I'm already looking at other Queen Helene products, which you'll notice also have stellar reviews.

For many years, I used commercial/retail deodorant sprays. They worked fine in terms of odor protection, but often left a residue that would accumulate over time under the arms of my dress cotton work shirts. This residue was extremely difficult to remove and, in fact, never could be removed completely, meaning that I had to "retire" my shirts prematurely.About eight years ago, I tried using deodorant crystal products and found that they worked just as well, and didn't generate the residue that had been plaguing my dress shirts. An added benefit was that the deodorant crystal was less expensive and lasted much longer (i.e., didn't have to be bought as frequently).Over the years, I've used deodorant crystals from a variety of manufacturers, and they all seemed to work quite well. The reason I purchased this particular product is that I found that crystals in "rock" form last longer compared to the "stick" products in plastic containers. The stick products work well initially, but become harder to apply toward the end (i.e., they become "crumbly", perhaps because they don't dry out completely between uses, and there's always some amount of the product that remains within the container at the end even after screwing the applicator all the way up). Now I buy only the rock form.Of course, the rock form is vulnerable to breakage if dropped (and they can become slippery during application), but I still find them the better buy. Something else to consider is that the rock form takes up considerably less space when packed into a shaving kit for travel.

Since gaining weight my cycles have been a little crazy, and up until this month I hadn't had a period since August. I began taking Maca (one pill in the morning, one at night) in early November and after TTC for 7 months we got pregnant so obviously I ovulated. Unfortunately it did not last, I miscarried at 4 weeks, but I do not think the medication had anything to do with it as early m/c are sadly very common.
